who were part of it and have left it. A former Communist, Louis Budenz, said of McCarthy’s
treatment:
The destruction of Joe McCarthy leaves the way open to intimidate any
person of consequence who moves against the Conspiracy. The Communists
made him their chief target because they wanted him a symbol to remind political
leaders in America not to harm the Conspiracy or its world conquest designs.

Conclusion
The above evidence clearly shows that the government of the United States of America
rather than being an advocate of freedom in the world has been an obstruction. Much of the aid
for the spread of Communism came from American bankers and businessman but the US
government is as much to blame. At times the government has turned a blind eye to the activities
of these men and at many other times has directly contributed to the advancement of
Communism in the world. The advancement of Communism over the last century has been
responsible for the deaths of well over 147 million people in the former U.S.S.R. and China
alone. It has also made an attempt to stamp out Christianity where ever it has come to power.
There is probably no corner of the earth that has not been affected by the rise of Communism in
the world and it would not have been possible without aid from the United States. Clearly as a
result the United States has caused the whole earth to suffer.
